Kleine stücke -Llítil stykki (small pieces) is a collection of small drawings and texts, drawn and written between 2018 and 2019 by artist Matthias Ruthenberg. The pocket sized book compiles about 90 reproductions of drawings in original size and a fist full of poems in german as well as icelandic. The book is a complete work by Matthias who printed the content at the FOSS studio in Seydisfjördur on paper shipped from Reykjavík by car, then cut everything to size in the Skaftfell Residency in the village, the etching on the cover he printed in four different versions in reykjavik. all parts was sewn, glued and beautifully cloths bound, in his artist’s studio in Metz, France.
